Inescop ( The InstitutoTecnologico de Calzado yConexos ) is the organisation which deals with shoe manufacture and it has opened a new shop in Elda , near Alicante .
The shop uses digital technology to measure feet .Customers would have their feet measured by the digital technology which would also assess sole pressure .
Then a computer programme would design a mould which is adapted to the style of shoe required by the customer .
Once this pilot scheme has been tested and evaluated then Inescop intends to set up 12 outlets which enables customers to be an integral part of the design and manufacture of their own footwear.

It has now been proposed that a viaduct should carry the AVE high speed train through Callosa de Segure . This is the U-turn being made by the ministry of public works .
This is part of a series of changes being suggested to the project , which was firmly rejected by both the residents and town hall of the municipality .
The mayor is going to set up a meeting with residents to ensure that the new proposals meet with their approval .
There was another suggestion that the train could travel through a deep gully which could later be turned into a tunnel . This however was deemed too expensive .
The Ministry has made it quite clear that the train will travel through the Sierra de Callosa and that decision is not negotiable .
The expropriation process is now set for the end of January , after both Callosa and Orihuela refused to participate .

In 2007 the regional environment department placed restrictions on the traffic allowed on the Punta de Cavall in the Sierra Helada near Benidorm .
It has now become extremely popular with walkers and cyclists and of 100 people who were asked their opinion 95 felt that not having traffic was a real plus .
The number of visitors has increased by more than one third in a year .Punta de Cavall is one of the main routes used by walkers on Sierra Helada along with one that runs to the summit between Alfaz del Pi and Albir .
The marine reserve in the Sierra Helada national park has also seen the benefits of the mooring buoys which were installed there five years ago to help preserve the Poseidonia reserves .Now that boats do not put down anchors the sea grass beds are not damaged and the beds have remained in good condition during this time .
