Playa de San Juan on the Costa Blanca was the scene of a tragedy last week when 6 year old boy died in a swimming pool on one of the urbanisations there.The child was pulled from a swimming pool and the emergency services did manage to bring him around.Sadly he died later in hospital at San Juan.
In Benalmadena on the Costa del Sol a 48 year old woman has been arrested in connection with the stabbing of her husband.Both were British.Neighbours of the couple called the police at 2am and when the police arrived the man was dead.The couple have not been named but they hail from Sunderland.
In Ibiza one of the balearic islands a 21 year old British tourist was killed last Sunday by a hit and run driver in San Antonio.The driver fled the scene but later a 24 year old Spaniard was picked up by the police.He tested positive for several illegal drugs and was almost three times over the legal limit for alcohol.The young woman came from kent in the UK.
