Benidorm Fisherman
A few weeks ago a Benidorm fisherman was fishing off the rocks at Punta del Cavall when a huge wave came in and swept him off the rocks.They were doing some night fishing when the incident happened.He was fishing with a friend who raised the alarm once he realised what had happened.
A massive air and sea search was set up for the 40 year old .It extended from Santa Pola to denia but so far without success.The search effort has been scaled down since February 20th and they are now concentrating on the cliffs and rocks near Benidorm.
The police have issued a photograph of the man and they have asked members of the public to come forward with any information that they might have.
