The Andalucia Performing Arts Society have been incredibly lucky to secure ” Star Struck ” for a one night only event in Alhaurin .
This hilarious one -man show has been seen all over the world , including the West End of London .The actor has done a classic tribute to the actor Kenneth Williams as well as this show .
Here he covers an amazing spectrum of stars from way back to Noel Coward and that era up to the modern times .
He de-bunks the cult of modern celebrity in a very amusing way .One needs to imagine going to a party where all of your celebrity heroes and heroines are invited and then stand back and see how they actually measure up to ypor views of them . It could turn into your worst nightmare as you realise that these icons are just like you or I .
Christmas Wonderland In Barcelona Flat
A retired lady who lives in a relatively small apartment in Barcelona has for the past 6 years decorated it in such a way that hundreds of children visit it and her to look at such things as the Nativity scene , with figures over a metre high .
The animals which one associates with the scene are there too .
The room is draped in blue to represent the sky .
Then there is a gallery of every type of Santa that one can imagine . It is a fantasy land .
This is one reason why this lady goes to all of this trouble , to enable young children to enjoy the fantasy of Christmas .
This lady believes that for children to believe the ” Magic ” of this or any other time of the year is special and will help them when they become adults .
Many of the items on display were purchased in Mexico where one of her children now lives .
